Race For Life

I've spent majority of today having fun with friends and fellow trainee teachers and a brilliant time, it's so nice to chill before we rush back to the school term!
As much as I have enjoyed half term, I have strangely missed school and I really am looking forward to getting back into it. Plus I eat much better while I'm on placement which will suit me well, as my training for this years race for life isn't going well. So the healthier I eat, the easier it will be, well  I'm hoping!
As you may have guessed already, I doing race for life this year on 29th June in Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham at 10.00am! So if your feeling generous please feel free to sponsor me, just click the link below and follow the instructions!

I promise to put up some silly photos of me completing race for life up, if I reach and go beyond my target!

Wow

Wow it's been sooo long since I last blogged!!

What can I say? I've been busy, really busy. As you may remember I started my PGCE in September, I haven't had much time to blog. I've had some great placements and worked/ing with such great children and fabulous teachers, who have and are teaching me so much!

I don't want to bore you all with school, school, school and how much I'm really enjoying it, so I'll just tell you about my day! As some of you may know its half term so I'm suddenly working slower, procrastinating a little bit more (I'll regret that later!). I was meant to make a start on my last assignment for university today, but I've spent majority of the day sorting, tidying, organising my room. Alongside texting some friends who I've shamefully neglected a tad bit during school term (sorry guys! Will do better!) One good result from today though is that I finally moved my desk around and I think I might be finally happy but we'll see how long it lasts.

Bad news, I now have a lovely evening of work and tomorrow, and I have nothing left I can do to put it off (thankfully). Hoping to get as much done as I can tonight and tomorrow as well as my lesson planning so I can spend some time out and about in Birmingham, so if anyone out there has any ideas what I can do in Brum would love to hear them!

Keep smiling!

Busy

What can I say, I'm sorry I haven't posted for a while, but I've been having fun with mum. She came up to Scarborough to see me, we had a fantastic time. I really miss her now that she's gone, the fog doesn't help much either.
I haven't really got the time to write this now but a small update and hopefully round the weekend I'll post some photos of what we did!
Though I'll give you one bit of news the microwave caught fire! before you say not my fault!! Everything seems to be braking on me, first my laptop screen then my portable DVD player and the the microwave what next? People say things happen in threes so fingers crossed! But not a brilliant start to a uni year is it!!

Panic

I tried to write this post a couple of days ago but for some reason it wouldn't let me, so I thought I would try again today!
I went onto the website where you can apply for the PGCE courses and say that the opening date was not the 15th October anymore but the 10th October, this in turn started to panic because I'm having a hard time trying to write it, so far I think it sounds dreadfull or just rubbish but, this might be me!
ontop of everything else my laptop screen decides it does not like me anymore and brakes so I've been without that for a few days, I'm hoping to get it back one wednesday, but in the meantime a really good friend lent me theirs to use, when i'm in the flat otherwise i'm in the library for the use of the internet as well as the computer.
Just currently trying to work out how long I've been playing the clarinet, it would help if i could remember what year I started learning wouldn't it!

Worn out

I travelled up to Scarborough yesterday and the coach was late then I had to walk all the way up to uni to get my keys to the flat, then all the way back down to my flat, that hill was never so long as before!
Today, I haven't stopped, I been into town three times and still managed to forget certain items such as bleach. I also been scrubbing the bathroom and kitchen what can I say completely filthy! I don't think those floors have ever been mopped! As for hoovering, who knows there isn't a hoover :S
I'm now currently sat, just finished at looking at how to apply for the PGCE course, which I found out you can start applying for on the 15th October! just under a month, I just need to get my personal statement into a fit state and make it as perfect as I can then I should be totally ready! I'm about to write another installment on my time for stories blog, then head back to my flat, as I'm in the uni library at the moment, jump in the shower, then have something to eat, maybe watch a film, which will lead to my early start for the coach tomorrow! hope the journey better than the one coming up! Did you know it costs way over £200 to fill the coach up with diesel?
