Classroom Baked Just Right

I'm loving this weather we had today but it's not nice being stuck in a stuffy classroom it was like a oven on too high! I'm starting to quite enjoy myself now if I'm honest, being kept a lot busier and I think it helps that I know the children's names now too. I had to take groups of children outside yesterday and measure their shadows, my favourite part was seeing that surprise when they realised their shadow wasn't in the same place when they came back out t measure it again a hour later! Its moments like that, that really make me want to be a teacher even more.
I'm off to another open day this weekend, me and mum are off to the University of Greenwich, Avery hill campus, it looks like a quite a nice university and thinking I may have a option to commute, though I will have to look at the transport costs and whether I could be placed in a school nearer home, if that would be possible. The last university I looked at was Birmingham City University, City North campus and I was surprised slightly to how the uni came across it had a lovely feel to it, I don't think I was expecting it to be that much, and the lecturer that I spoke to was really helpful too and seemed really nice!
I think I'm going to get creative this weekend too I brought this owl thing and I'm getting desperate to do it, but the instructions look slightly confusing so wish me luck!!
